Practical details for trade commissions
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time is quoted per commission and confirmed in writing before work begins. Original work is made by hand; timelines are honest, and you’re kept informed of any meaningful change. Rush timelines are sometimes possible and carry a premium.
How do delivery and installation work?
Crating, shipping, and installation are handled or coordinated by the studio and billed at cost. Local delivery and installation in the Valley are quoted per project. Every piece travels professionally packed and insured.
Who holds copyright and reproduction rights?
Your client owns the physical work on full payment; the artist retains copyright and reproduction rights, as is standard for original fine art. Client privacy is honored on request: the studio can reference the work without identifying the home or its owner.
Can we work together remotely?
Yes. Most commissions run beautifully on room images, dimensions, and a virtual consultation, with progress updates and approval images throughout. The studio works with projects in the Valley and well beyond it, and in-person consultations at the project site are welcome where the project calls for it.
How do trade and resale terms work?
Trade terms are extended to verified trade professionals, including designers, consultants, and firms, and shared directly in the line sheet and quotes rather than published here. Clients purchasing for resale provide a current resale certificate.
