The first step

Tell me about your space.

Tell me about the room and the feeling you want it to hold. Send a photograph if you have one. Every inquiry comes to me personally, and I will reply to you myself.

Commissions begin in the mid-four figures, with larger and multi-piece works quoted privately.

The Collector's Circle

Members receive Studio Notes, the first word from the studio on new work, private commissions, and what is taking shape next.

Shared in confidence, your details and images stay private.

Every inquiry reaches me personally. I reply within a few days.

Original work, with the presence to change a room.

Dani Abbott creates commissioned original work for private collectors, made directly with the artist and shaped to the space, its scale, and the feeling it is meant to hold, in whatever form the work calls for. A private process, handled with care and discretion at every step.

The process

One, Conversation. We begin privately with the room, the scale, the architecture, and the feeling the work needs to hold. Two, Work. I create the piece, and you stay close to it through a few key moments. Three, Delivery. The finished work is delivered, installed, and cared for, wherever the home is.

Questions worth asking

How does a commission work? It begins with a private conversation, never a contract. What does a commission cost? Each commission is priced to its scale, its materials, and the scope of the work. What if I do not know exactly what I want? Most collectors begin with a feeling rather than a plan. How involved do I need to be? As involved as you wish. What if I am not local? Most commissions are created at a distance with photographs, conversation, and careful delivery.
