Stealing Time

Stealing Time has a sly, storybook quality: playful at first glance, but more layered the longer you sit with it. The title gives the piece its own little wink, as if the subject has slipped in from the edge of a memory and taken something precious with it. This sold original acrylic painting now lives in a private collection and is shown in Archetypes as an example of Dani Abbott's character-driven animal work. It carries humor, polish, and a quietly cinematic sense of story. Collectors may inquire about commissioning an original with a similarly personal thread, created around their own story while remaining entirely one of a kind.
