Island Breeze

One of the early surreal works, and one of the first where the symbol led the brush. It found its collector before it was finished. At their request, a line of their favorite scripture is hand noted inside the painting, a private blessing only they and the canvas keep. A horse in full bloom, flowers opening across its body where you expect muscle and mane. Instinct softened, never tamed. Wild vitality that did not have to harden to stay powerful: strength carried by tenderness, movement carried by grace.
